Cardiac Research Team

The study is a tightly knit collaborative effort of several groups from various departments at the University of California San Francisco, School of Medicine. The study involves neonatologists (pediatricians specializing in taking care of newborns), neurologists, physicists, psychologists, radiologists, research nurses, statisticians, study assistants, and technicians. The research team is lead by the principal investigator, Dr. Patrick McQuillen, , and is funded by a American Heart Association (AHA).
