Cassandra A. Williams received a BSN from the Marcella Neihoff School of Nursing at Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois. She is certified in the field of Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing.

Ms. Williams has been a nurse for 23 years where she has focused her practice of care in the neonatal and pediatric population. She has been a nurse in the Intensive Care Nursery at UCSF for the past 10 years before joining the Neonatal Clinical Research Center as a research nurse. Ms. Williams's professional career includes pediatrics and pediatric home care, Level II Neonatal Intensive Care, and precepting and teaching in the new graduate program in the Intensive Care Nursery at UCSF.
