UCSF Radiology Supports HIV/AIDS Services at 2015 AIDS Walk San Francisco

On July 19, members of the UCSF Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging came together to raise over $5,000 to support Bay Area HIV and AIDS services. The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging Team was one of 24 UCSF teams that participated in the AIDS Walk San Francisco 2015. The department was a part of the dedicated UCSF community effort that placed UCSF as the number one fundraising organization at the AIDS Walk San Francisco 2015. Collectively, UCSF teams raised more than $110,000 in donations.

AIDS Walk San Francisco is Bay Area's largest fundraiser benefiting local organizations serving men, women and children living with HIV and AIDS. Among the beneficiaries are four UCSF organizations:  

In all, AIDS Walk San Francisco fundraising surpassed last year, bringing in a total of $2.27 million for Bay Area Organizations.
