People

The interdisciplinary group includes physicists, engineers, physical therapists, radiologists, orthopaedic surgeons, and rheumatologists, who are all doing translational research.

Objective

To develop cutting-edge quantitative imaging techniques and translate them into clinical studies  to enable earlier intervention and more effective patient care for people with osteoarthritis.

Impact

Our findings will help researchers and clinicians towards improving the quality of lives of people affected by hip and knee injuries and osteoarthritis.

About the Center

Our goal is to translate promising new imaging techniques and non-invasive biomarkers from proof of principle to studies/trials in human subjects and ultimately into widely available clinical tools that directly impact patient care and management of osteoarthritis.
