William P. Dillon, MD, is Chief of the Section of Neuroradiology, Department of Radiology, University of California San Francisco. Dr. Dillon holds degrees from the University of Santa Clara (BS) and the University of California Los Angeles (MD). He completed his Residency in Radiology at the University of Utah, followed by a fellowship in Neuroradiolgy at the University of California San Francisco in 1982. He was appointed Chief of the Section of Neuroradiology at UCSF in 1992.

Dr. Dillon is Vice Chairman of the Department of Radiology, serving on the executive committee and teaching committees. He is past president of the American Society of Head and Neck Radiology and also serves on the executive committee of the American Society of Neuroradiolgy.

Dr. Dillon received the Francis A. Sooy, M.D. teaching award for Clinical Excellence from the Department of Otolaryngology, UCSF in 1993 and was elected as one of the Best Doctors of America in 1995.
