Interventional Radiology (IR) services are provided by full-time interventional radiologists at four hospitals in the UCSF system: Mt. Zion, Moffitt/Long, San Francisco General Hospital, San Francisco VAMC, and San Francisco County Hospital.

The IR service provides clinical coverage 24 hours a day.  There are two separate call schedules providing service to all four hospitals.  The faculty are very experienced clinically and constitute a stable, cohesive and cooperative group. Excellent and loyal technicians and nurses are an integral part of the IR section's activities.
