Topic 2: Helping Your Patient with Advanced Abdominopelvic Imaging Though abdominopelvic diseases stay largely the same, our ability to diagnose and treat is constantly evolving. Just as therapy must be tailored for each patient for maximal benefit, advanced imaging techniques adjust to each patient to maximize diagnostic accuracy. Several exciting improvements in Computed Tomography technology are unveiled each year, but these improvements are of limited value if not utilized properly. This talk will show how patients are obtaining superior diagnoses and treatment monitoring by use of revolutionary patient-specific CT imaging protocols that provide unparalleled routine clinical image quality for the liver, pancreas, kidneys, arteries, bowel, and abdominopelvic tumors at China Basin and UCSF. |
