1. Preparations / Set Up
Fig.1: Audiovisual Control Panel
- 1.1 Turn on the LCD Projector - Push the ON button (D) on the Audiovisual Control Panel (fig. 1) to turn on the LCD projector. A blue image will appear on the screen after a few seconds. A red light indicates that the system is coming online; a green light indicates it is ready for use.
- 1.2. Enable your session - Push the Videoconference button (B) to enable your session; the Videoconference Console (shown in fig.2 below) will be lit.

- 1.3. Turn the Monitor On: Push the TV On/Off button 1 on the VC Console to turn the Monitor on; the main menu of the videoconference will be displayed.
2. To change local camera views
- You have two camera view options:
- Podium view (Camera 1)
- Local audience view (Camera 2)
2.1 From the podium to the audience camera
To change the camera view from the podium (Camera 1) to the local audience (Camera 2), do the following:
- Press the Near Side View #1 button 6
- Then press the Near Side View #2 button 8
(Note that the camera Icons will appear on the screen)
- Using the Navigation arrows 7 select camera 2
- Press the Enter button 2
(Note: You have five seconds to press enter)
2.2 From the audience the podium camera
- Press the Near Side View #1 button 6
- Using the Navigation arrows 7 select camera 1 and press the Enter button 2
3. Videoconference Calls
- 3.1 Placing a Videoconference Call - To place a call, look at the monitor and follow these steps:
- Press the Menu button 6
- Using the Navigation Arrows 7 highlight the Address Book icon
- Press the Enter button 2
- Using the Navigation Arrows buttons 7, highlight your selected location
- Press the Enter button 2 again
The conference unit should start making telephone ring sounds and communication should be established within seconds,
PS. If you receive a "Call Rejected" notice, the other party is not accepting the call. They are not ready or available to take the call.
- 3.2 Ending a Videoconference Call - To end a call and terminate your session:
- Press the Call Hang Up button 10, The Call Hang up screen appears
- Press the Enter button 2 to disconnect
4. Sharing laptop presentation during Video Calls

- 4.1 Sharing your laptop presentation with participants at other locations – Use the 'Visual Concert FX' (fig 3) and follow the instructions below:
IMPORTANT:
- The maximum resolution of the laptop display cannot exceed 1024 x 768
- Refresh rates are limited to 60 & 75 hertz
- Microsoft 95/98 and NT are not supported
- Connect the laptop to the yellow computer cable located to the left of the podium
- Press the purple "Play" button on the Visual Concert FX (fig 3)
(Note this button will glow green and your laptop image will appear on the screen)
- Press the Far End laptop button (C) to ensure connectivity with participants
- Press the Laptop button (A) for a higher resolution image of your presentation
- 4.2 Sharing laptop presentation of participants at other location
- Press the Far End laptop button (C) on the Audiovisual Control Panel
- Adjust the Volume buttons (E) to a proper level for the local audience
- 4.3 Ending your laptop presentation1. Press the blue "Stop" button on the Visual Concert FX (fig.3) When the presentation has been stopped, the stop button turn Red

6. Local Microphone ON /OFF
- You can turn the local microphone ON or OFF with the triangle shaped microphone located at left of the podium.
- To mute the local sound, press the microphone’s only button (it will turn Red)
- To enable the local sound, press the button when it’s red
