- a web and database interface to maintain and create your pages. (Some knowledge of HTML required.)
- page maintenance by the web services group
This solution is used by:
- A separate site from the radiology web site.
This solution implies:
- a unique domain name. This can be requested through Matt Denton.
- the site to reside on the radiology web server and configured as a virtual server.

The Web Infrastructure
The UCSF Radiology web sites are developed and maintained on its own servers. Presently the Radiology department has 3 Sun servers for web activities. Their configuration is as follows:
For increased security all servers are behind a firewall administrated by Todd Bazzill, and connected to the PACS’ UPS. All servers are backed up daily per Mark Day’ system wide backup schema.
In addition the Radiology department also has a streaming server hosted on the radiology file server (Mac OSX) administered by Matt Denton.
