Twentieth Anniversary Margulis Society Gala brings together Alumni, Faculty and Residents

Nearly 200 guests gathered at San Francisco’s Olympic Club for the 20^th Anniversary of the Margulis Society on March 12. The largest crowd in the event’s history celebrated the Margulis Society’s 20^th Anniversary. Special guests of honor were Drs. Alexander Margulis, former chair of the Department of Radiology, and Hedvig Hricak, former chief of Abdominal Imaging at UCSF.

The Twentieth Anniversary Gala featured a buffet dinner and a live-auction fund-raiser of unique items donated by each section in the Department, Margulis board members, and residents.

The evening was highlighted by a celebration of the 90^th birthday of Dr. Margulis and acknowledgment of the extraordinary leadership, guidance and friendship that he has shown to countless generations of UCSF Radiology trainees.
