Center for Translational Osteoarthritis

The Center of Research Translation for the Study of Osteoarthritis at China Basin Campus

Located at the corner of 4th and Berry Streets across from AT&T Park, the CORT group, comprising of researchers from UCSF and UC Davis, develops and implements advanced quantitative imaging, functional biomechanical and clinical tools to investigate osteoarthritis disease process at the hip and the knee.

Located at the corner of 4th and Berry Streets across from AT&T Park, the CMFI group uses advanced imaging to investigate fundamental biological and disease processes at the cellular, molecular, and genetic levels.

Located on UCSF's 43-acre life sciences campus for teaching and research, the Surbeck serves as an intellectual hub through which over 100 researchers and staff conduct studies and develop new high-field MR and NMR imaging technologies.

vamcThe Center for Imaging of Neurodegenerative Diseases at the San Francisco VA Medical Center

Located at 4150 Clement Street, the CIND group is comprised of over 60 UCSF employees that use MRI and other techniques to study changes in the brain which occur in normal aging and neurodegenerative diseases.
