CRC Frequently Asked Questions

How do I request CRC Core Services?

If you’d like to request project support from the Radiology CRC Core, please fill out the intake form.

Do I need to work with a CRC?

You do not need to work with a CRC if you are able to accomplish all the tasks related to your studies. However, if you need help coordinating research studies, getting them started and managing them, we can help! Please contact us at [email protected].

What services do the Radiology CRCs provide?

We have a number of services, all related to research study coordination:

  1. Institutional Review Board (IRB) Applications (IRB)
  2. Study Start-Up
  3. Study Management
  4. Clinical Research Rates
  5. “Full-Service” Data Transfers

What are the cost of services?

The current hourly cost for CRC work is $65 per hour (data transfers not included). You can also pay a percentage of a CRC's salary with your grant. We are in the process of reviewing these costs and will update the pricing soon.

Can my grant pay for CRCs that are helping me with the CHR and other services?

Yes, this has all been vetted with the budget office.

What if I have my own CRC?

If you do not need the help of the Radiology Clinical Research Coordinators, you do not have to work with them. As we move forward, we will have some Departmental wide activities where we may want the CRCs who report to you to attend. This is to make sure that we standardize procedures and that we apply best practices in the whole Department.
