Acknowledging the Contributions of our Campus Administrative Professionals

This post was authored by Chris Laubenthal – Chief Administrative Officer at the UC San Francisco Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging

As we honor and recognize Administrative Professionals Week 2022, I would like to express my sincere thanks to you all.

I am proud of what you all have accomplished together as we emerge to our "new normal" and begin the return to more on-site presence as the pandemic recedes. Remotely and on-site, all of you have done a tremendous job adapting to new work models, as you remained on site and welcomed others or as you have transitioned to more of a hybrid schedule. I am so proud of our teams and thankful for your continued support.

I am honored to witness your dedication to the department and strong commitment to our culture of collaboration along with the pride that you bring in contributing to all our missions. Your ability to first and foremost meet the needs of our people, (faculty, staff, and trainees), the research enterprise, patients and our community has been unwavering.

Thank you to everyone—on site, hybrid and remote—for your contributions, commitment, and dedication to the department during this year. For those that attended the department's campus staff retreat on Thursday, April 28, I was excited to reunite and give my appreciation to you, in person.

As we continue to advance our patient care, research, and teaching efforts in the year ahead, thank you alone is not enough to express and convey the gratitude that I and on behalf of the department, have for you and everything you do in making our missions possible.

Thank you.
