Most interventional imaging services and diagnostic exams can be scheduled within five business days. We make every effort to accommodate urgent requests within two days. In addition, we provide some imaging services on a walk-in basis.

All procedures are performed Monday-Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

To schedule an appointment, please call our Radiology Central Scheduling phone number at (415) 353-2573, Monday-Friday, from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

You can also schedule a screening mammogram online.

Please note that a written request (pdf) from your physician is required for all radiology procedures.

When making your appointment, please tell the scheduler if you have any allergies or if you had an allergic reaction during a previous CT or MR procedure. Also tell the scheduler if you have any special needs, such as assistance with language.

When you come for your exam, please be sure to bring a list of all your current medications, your insurance card and some identification that has your picture on it. If your physician gave you a written request for the procedure, bring that request form with you as well.

Walk-in Imaging Services

Your doctor may want you to receive an X-Ray exam as part of your office visit. If your doctor’s office is at the Ambulatory Care Center or UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion, you may be asked to go to one of our convenient outpatient walk-in clinics during or just after your office visit. You do not need an appointment at these clinics.

Outpatient X-Ray imaging is performed on a walk-in basis at the following locations:
