Inna Cotur named UCSF Wellness Champion

Inna Cotur senior radiologic technologist, has been chosen to be the Wellness Champion for the UCSF Diagnostic Radiology Department-Parnassus Campus. Inna, graduate of the City College of San Francisco, Diagnostic Medical Imaging Program, has been with UCSF for the last seven years.  She was nominated for this position by one of her supervisors.

Wellness Pillars

This year, Inna applied for and was awarded a mini-grant on behalf of the UCSF Diagnostic Radiology Department. The grant, titled “Bento! Salad! Go!”, will enable her to support fellow colleagues who want to eat healthier. Inna plans on inviting a registered dietician to an upcoming staff meeting to speak about healthy eating and nutrition.

“I am excited about raising awareness of all resources available at UCSF,” says Inna.

The Wellness Champion program brings together UCSF community members passionate about wellness and spreading well-being across the University.  Wellness Champions serve as departmental leaders in advocating for wellness within their units, develop and promote engagement, brainstorm wellness ideas and attend quarterly meetings. The UCSF Wellness Program provides community driven mini-grants for members of the UCSF community to implement their vision and creating a culture of well-being at UCSF.  The program awards grants to projects that:

  • connects to UCSF Wellness Pillar
  • creates a culture of wellness at UCSF
  • promotes Diversity, equity and inclusion at UCSF
