UCSF Radiologists & Imaging Scientists at the 2023 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting

Each year in late November, UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging faculty, staff, and trainees attend the RSNA Annual Meeting at McCormick Place in  Chicago. This year, more than 50 department members will be delivering lectures and moderating panels, leading courses and scientific sessions, and sharing education exhibits. It will be an exciting week with great conversation, learning, and connecting with colleagues and UCSF alumni. Here is the full schedule,

We are exceptionally proud of the following award recipients, who are being recognized during RSNA for their contributions to research, teaching, and clinical care--

  • Janine Lupo, PhD, imaging scientist, was named to the Academy of Radiology Research’s Council of Distinguished Investigators.
  • Bonnie N. Joe, MD, PhD, Chief of Breast Imaging, received the Honored Educator Award.
  • Masis Isikbay, MD, neuroradiology fellow, was named the 2023 William W. Olmsted Trainee Editorial Fellow. He also received the RSNA Derek Harwood-Nash International Education Scholar Grant and the 2023 Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award.
  • Ngoc-Anh Tran, MD, emergency radiology fellow, and Huiming Dong, PhD, vascular imaging postdoctoral scholar, both received a 2023 Trainee Research Prize.
  • William C. Chen, MD, postdoctoral scholar, received the 2023 Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award.
  • Brandon K.K. Fields, MD, PGY3, was named Vice-Chair of the RSNA Resident and Fellow Committee, which serves to bridge relations with the RSNA at large and promote programming and educational opportunities specific to trainees.
  • Lynne Leng, BS, and Lucia West received RSNA Research Medical Student Grants. Felicia Tang, BS received the Phillips/RSNA Research Medical Student Grant.
