Welcome, Incoming 2025 Residents!
We are delighted to welcome 15 new residents, who matched to our diagnostic radiology and integrated IR residency programs and will join UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging in July 2025.
“UCSF Radiology continues to attract a diverse group of exceptionally talented medical students,” said Jared Narvid, MD, co-chair of the UCSF Radiology Residency Selection Committee and ZSFG Site Director of the UCSF Radiology Residency program.
“This application cycle marked one of the most competitive years yet, with 716 applications to match 15 residents,” said Narvid. “The selection committee feels honored to have matched this accomplished group and we speak for the whole UCSF community when we say – we can't wait to work with them in 2025!”
“UCSF Radiology training programs are committed to educating and inspiring diverse young scholars in the radiologic sciences. We are confident that the newly matched students will pursue their clinical training and academic goals wholeheartedly to become impactful leaders in the field of radiology,” said Soonmee Cha, MD, Program Director of UCSF Radiology Residency and Vice Chair of Education.
